Dr. Thomas A. Swift Elementary - Intergenerational Interactions

Principal Shannon Kenney presented on how Dr. Thomas A. Swift Elementary School is using intergenerational programs like Chess Club, Cuddle Up and Read, and Roots of Empathy to help students grow academically and socially.

Yale Secondary - Student Leadership Program

Two students from Yale Secondary will shared their experiences with the school’s Student Leadership program. They provided personal reflections on how the program has contributed to their personal development and future aspirations.

Operations

Second Quarter Financial Report

Secretary-Treasurer/CFO, Ray Velestuk, provided the summary of the Second Quarter Financial Report for 2024-25 school year compared to the Second Quarter Financial Report from the previous school year.

Board Policies

Secretary-Treasurer/CFO, Ray Velestuk, recommended that no changes be made to Policy 12: Delegation of Authority, Policy 19: School Closure, and Policy 21: Naming of School District Facilities/Property.
